Hello everyone.

This is my first entry in blog. Albeit, I am still new, I will try to impress you guys with good for nothing ideas about my article review.

My article review is about a movie that I am sure you guys must know if I mention it because that movie was quite popular and the most interesting, the movie can be watched by all level of age. Feel free to lay over my blog and read thorough this article review so you guys can illustrate and raising your interest about the movie.

I start my review with the movie introduction. The movie entitled 'How to train your dragon' and was written by Dean De Blois and Cressida Cowell very famous author who have won many titles and prices about writing some books and directing some movies. In addition, the movie is directed by Dean De Blois himself. How to train your dragon start been visualized on screen at 31 March 2010 after the book been published 7 years before which was in 2003. Earning acclaim from film critics and audiences and earning nearly $500 million worldwide.

Summary

This film started when Viking men waged war against notorious creature that could spite fire from their mouth (dragon). Viking men leaded by the village chieftain Stoic the vast had no option but to bear their arsenal in other to defend their village and protected their live stocks from being taken unwillingly by the flying creature.

One day, during a regular brawl with the dragons, Hiccup, son of the chieftain claimed that he had shot down a very rare species of dragon known by name Night Fury. But, no one believed as he had never killed any dragon before and he was good for nothing compare to the other Vikings.

The elders of the Viking held a tournament for the newcomers on how to kill a dragon. This was not excluded Hiccup. When his turn, Hiccup managed to tame the dragon he instructed to kill yet he not killed it. This made the chieftain rage as he wanted to see his son to grow as bravely like him by killing dragon.

Last but not least, a final war between Vikings and dragons happened as the Vikings tried to invade the dragon nest navigated by following toothless navigation. Toothless was held chained at the front line. After several bombardments by the Vikings, Red Death a biggest dragon showed his face and destroyed almost the Viking arsenal and left them hopeless.

Hiccup rode the unchained Toothless cooperated together to defeat the Red Death. They clashed on air and exchanged blows several times but finally Hiccup and Toothless won as the Red Death swallowed the finished blow from toothless and it exploded in his stomach. From the fight, Hiccup lost a leg but the most important he had changed Vikings’ perspective toward dragons which actually were not a dangerous creature.

Critique

Based on my opinion, this movie was quiet good compare to other cartoon movies that used 3D system because the way they visualizing the scenes leave we out of my bore and I am very hyped to watch it after just go through the trailers. But, the way they draw the main antagonist were not very scary but it should look terrified as the antagonist was the biggest dragon in the movie so far and spite fire more blazing than the small one, yet they draw it just like a witless dragon. This lowered my hype a bit. Other than that, the way they introduced the hero, Hiccup was very funny because no one can believed someone skinny like Hiccup can lead and fly a dragon according to his instruction.

Conclusion

Whoever that still not yet watch the movie I recommend them to watch it because you will become a silent boy when your friends are talking about the movie during chit chat. I can’t deny the movie served many moral values that we can implement it in life. For example, the old slang, don’t judge a book by its cover, never gets old. Like Hiccup’s slender body often gets underestimated by the Vikings, who have big muscular body. That’s the main reason why he’s in charge of swords and weapons. But he couldn’t just sit there and not do anything, he tried to help but not as smooth as his plan. Other than that, set aside your ego for higher purpose. Hiccup’s father, Stoic the Vast as the leader of Viking tribe, got mad after he found out Hiccup befriend a dragon and decides to kill Red Death with the rest of the Vikings, ignoring Hiccup’s warning of the danger. But his action bites him back, as many of his people got killed by the event.

Lastly, rather that loss your time for something not benefit why don’t you invite along your family to watch together beside the movie also is under 12.
